Noemi “La Rebelde” Bosques Super Flyweight 11-10-3 (2 KOs) November 1, 2017 Noemi "La Rebelde" Bosques is a warrior princess. She has overcome many challenges inside and beyond the ring. When Noemi was a child, her mother gave her the alias "La Rebelde" due to Noemi's love for sports rather than the stereotypical female play. As Noemi grew up, she became more and more of a non-traditional young lady, and was drawn to the life of an athlete and into more aggressive sports. In middle school and high school, she was on the track team and played basketball and football. At the age of 18, got involved with boxing, and has thus far made a memorable career of it. Noemi's pro-debut was on May 18, 2012, versus Amarilis Adorno, whom she has since fought twice more, winning all three. She has gone toe-to-toe with some of the biggest names in the female boxing community, such as Heather Hardy, Ayanna Vasquez, and Lourdes Juarez. Noemi shared that one of her toughest fights was against Kenia Enriquez, the Mexican light flyweight champion. Noemi stated that Kenia was the toughest opponent she has faced, because Kenia kept her on her toes throughout the bout. She also said that Kenia made such an impression on her that she requested that Kenia be in her training camp as she prepared to fight her next opponent. Noemi expressed a lot of respect for Kenia, and gave her a shout-out during the interview.

Noemi spoke out about her accomplishments in the world of boxing, and explained that the best part about being a fighter other than traveling around the world is having her main team on her side. She said that her daughter has been to every fight, and attends her training sessions at times. Noemi said that she is grateful for her grandmother, who has sewn almost every outfit she has worn throughout her career. Noemi also expressed her love for the sport of boxing, and made a point of it to sharing love with the "team" of women who have motivated and inspired her throughout the years. When asked about her future goals, Noemi said that she wants to “wander around the world." She also mentioned her interest in helping the foster children of the world by assisting them with their basic needs, such as shelter and safe coping skills. In response to what she wants her legacy to be, she stated “boxing has opened many doors and has given me the platform to speak for those who cannot do so for themselves. I want to use this platform to make a difference. My name, "Le Rebelde," means to step out of social norms and go after your dreams, regardless of stereotypes." Noemi grew up in a traditional Christian home, where her father was a pastor and her mother an honorable pastor's wife. She said that, "Although I grew up with the long dresses and long hair, I no longer dress in that way. I live a life to help others no matter how I dress." She has dedicated her life to the sport of boxing and her lovely 15 year -old daughter. Noemi is a true warrior goddess; she never backs down from a challenge, and from time to time she models for her sponsors. Her beauty truly shines through her active lifestyle in and out of the ring. As she says, "I only model for my sponsors, but that is not my main focus. Boxing changed my world and has given me the platform to speak for those who don’t have a voice. My grandmother introduced me to a foundation called Power Up Project that helps orphans who have no place to go after being removed from their abusive homes, and are placed in jail due to lack of resources. I called the pastor in charge and built a relationship with him. Noemi stated that anyone interested in helping the children may contact her via social media @noemibosques on Instagram, Facebook, or Snapchat, as well as via e-mail noemibosques@yahoo.com.
